Southside Titans 2012

Congratulations are in order for Coach Dontrell and his 9yr old Big Soldiers for taking 3rd place for the 2011 football season. Our Southside Titans Big Soldiers were only 55 seconds away from reaching the championship game. Despite the tough loss, our boys came back in the consolation game and handled their business against their next opponent. What a way to finish the season with strong momentum and determination. The city officially knows who we are and they respect our game. Way to represent the Titans family!!! We look forward to seeing our Big Soldiers again next year for the 2012 football season.

As a coach, I love when the parents are involved in all the fun.
Fun begins by parents bringing their kids to practice daily and on time.
I stress conditioning which will help us in the long run

If you have a child who is 9 years old and was born before 5/1/2003, he can still play up with our 10 year old Titans.

I love the game of football.

Played football for 7 years.

Coaching is about personalities. I am that type of coach.

Besides personalities, I believe in good sportsmanship.

You must be able to exhibit a good attitude while coaching.

I believe and am often times know as a conditioning coach.

I teach my kids to display the right attitude and hard work.

From there, our kids will have the skills they need to achieve.

I believe that in order to achieve anything in life, you must be willing to take a chance and not be afraid to make mistakes. I just as you to believe in us coaches, because we are truly in your best interest and want you all to be the best you can be on and off the field. As Titans we are here to stress the importance of discipline, perseverance, and sportsmanship on and off the field. Because this is just a starting point for our Titans future and we as a family hold the “key” to those locked doors that no one believed could ever be opened. So I say to all the Titan players play every second, minute, and hour like it’s your last, whistle to whistle and then you will see that hard work truly pays off.
