SOUTHSIDE TITANS ALL STAR WEEKEND SATURDAY MARCH 13TH
We had a great 2009/2010
basketball season. We are so proud of all seven of our Southside Titans Family basketball teams. On behalf of
the Oklahoma City Thunder, they will be throwing an all star basketball extravaganza on Saturday, March 13th. It will
be bigger than last years event so we advise that you arrive early to cheer on boys/girls who have been selected as all star
players to participate in this event. There will be OKC Thunder players present as well as the OKC Thunder cheerleaders
and we even have a special surprise for those Southside Titan family members that attend. There will be hot dogs, games
for the children and media coverage there as well. As always, come strong in your official Southside Titans gear like
you did in last years event. I guarantee you that the children will have a great time as well as the adults. We
look forward to seeing you there. Below are the times.

OKC THUNDER BASKETBALL TICKETS FOR THE SOUTHSIDE TITANS
We have had a wonderful 2009/2010
basketball season. We are so proud of our seven basketball teams this year. To celebrate our teams success and
our organizational efforts, our very own OKC Thunder NBA basketball team has given exclusive tickets to our basketball
team and our players. At 7pm on Tuesday, March 2nd, 2009, our kindergartern Baby Soldiers led by Coach Julius "Juice"
and our 2nd/3rd grade Small Soldiers led by Coach Ondray will be representing the Southside Titans Family when the Thunder
face off against the Sacramento Kings. Three weeks later on Monday, March 23rd, our New Baby Soldiers led by Coach Ranada
and our 1st grade Baby Soldiers led by Coach Nick will be attending the OKC Thunder versus San Antonio Spurs NBA game.
That game is scheduled for a 7pm tip off. We look forward to a strong Southside Titans Family representation at the

SOUTHSIDE TITANS SKATING SATURDAY, MARCH 20TH
We are asking all skaters
young and old within the Southside Titans Family to get ready to lace up your roller skates. Once again, we will be
taking part in our annual family skating event on Saturday, March 20th, 2010 at Southwestern Rollerskating Center. The
event will be held from Noon until 4pm. The cost to skate is $7 per person. Please note that everyone that enters
must pay a $7 entry fee even if you choose not to skate. Southwestern Rollerskating Center is located at 6401 S. Western.
It is on Western between S.W. 59th and S.W. 74th. The skating center is on the west side of the street. We encourage
all Titans family members to invite your friends and family. In other words, you are free to come even if you are not
an official Southside Titans member yet. We just want you to come out and have fun. We hope to see you there.

DEL CITY SILVERBACKS 2010 FOOTBALL SEASON HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN
Our beloved semi-pro football team, the undefeated Del City Silverbacks, led by team owner Freddy Franklin along with
head coach Reggie Lee and his coaching staff, have been involved in conditioning, weights, and other workouts. Official
practices have already been taking place each weekend for the upcoming 2010 football season. Practices are at 3pm on
Saturdays and Sundays. The Del City Silverbacks hold their practices at Highland Park Elementary. Address
is 5301 S. Dimple. Their next official Silverbacks football game is scheduled for Saturday, March 20th at 1pm at
Crooked Oak Stadium. It is located on South Eastern between S.E 15th and S.E. 25th. Stadium is on the east side
of the street. If you are interested in being a part of the Del City Silverbacks semi-pro team, please contact Coach

WE TELL STORIES POETRY NIGHT MARCH 27TH
Our next grown up event (We Tell Stories) will be
at Java Dave's. It is located at 10 N.E. 10th Street. Java Daves is just east of Broadway right after the train
tracks. It starts at 8pm, so please get there early. The cost is only $8 to enter. To confirm good
seating, we recommend that you get there early. This is an official christian event. They serve food, coffee
and pastries for your stomach. There will be door prizes, live music and poetry to fill your soul. Speaking of
poetry and soul, we encourage you to come out and support one of our own Southside Titans Family members, Kendal S. Turner. She
is a well known and respected poetess who has a published autobiography as well as two poetry books to her credit. She
is a crowd favorite at Java Dave's. Personally, she has a son who plays for the Big Soldiers basketball team as well
as a younger son who is our official basketball team mascot and future Baby Soldiers football player. Everyone
is encouraged to come out on Saturday, March 27th and show your Southside Titans love for Kendal.
