2 years.
Played at Oklahoma City University 2 years.
I played basketball from the age of seven until now.
I wasn't a big fan of it because I loved to play softball.
Over the years, basketball has grown into my passion.
I injured my knee in high school tearing my ACL.
I had a tremendous amount of support that kept me going.
This
helped me meet my dreams of playing basketball in college.
Eventually, I got back on the court and landed a full
scholarship to Northern College in Tonkawa.
My two seasons there went great. I had plent of opportunites to play
at Division 1 universities.
Made the decision to go play for Oklahoma City University.
Both years, we made it to
the National Championship but lost in the final four games to make the championship game.
OCU is where I ultimately
made the decision that I wanted to be a womans basketball coach.
Being a coach, I want to teach my athletes self motivation
and confidence.
I also want to teach discipline, healthy ways of living and the correct way to do certain
basketball skills.
I believe that everyone has the ability to be successful in anything they do.
All they have
to do is put forth the effort, and they will have the right passion to be great.
I'm a teacher. I'm intense.
I'm a competitive coach.
I want all my kids playing for me to be competitive at all times.
