The Southside Titans Adult Semi-Pro football
team is now OFFICIAL!!! We will be playing our first annual season under the Oklahoma Metro Football League for
the upcoming 2011 football season. With this being our newest addition to our Southside Titans Family, we will
be having our first official team practice on Saturday, September 11th at 10am. Practice will take place at West
Woodson Park. The address is 3328 S. Independence. It is located on S.W. 29th street on the west side of I-44.
Please bring your $25 to practice to go towards your team dues. Cash or money order only. No exceptions.
Please note that no walk in practices will be accepted. To take part in the practices, you must complete our adult semi-pro
football enrollment form on our website first. No exceptions. Afterwards, please contact our head coach Lavell
Sims at 405-816-1013 to advise him that you have completed the form online and advise him that you will be taking part in
the upcoming tryouts. Remember...We only want the best of the best, not the best of the rest. Our roster will
be limited. We look forward to seeing you there.

That's right...We have set up a Southside Titans Semi-Pro Adult Football Team.
At this time we are the newest team in the Oklahoma Metro Football League (OMFL) and we are excited about the upcoming 2011
football season. Now that we are an official, start preparing for our first football practices (September 11th &
12th) as well as future practices which will include weight lifting, agility conditioning and football fundamentals. If
you played high school football and graduated. Come join us. If you are a former college football player,
we are the team for you. If you have previous NFL experience, or played previously with another semi-pro team or league
and want to start out with something new with true integrity and team organization, come join our established Southside
Titans Family. Our official team roster will be limited to only the best of the best, and we will place you in
a skilled position...But only if you have the skills to be a part of this soon to be historical event. If you have
game and the proper attitude to be a part of what we have to be an official Southside Titans athlete, please fill out the
Semi-Pro Enrollment Form below. Upon your completion of the form, please conctact Coach Lavell Sims at 405-816-1013.
Also, if you voluntarily choose to leave a former team to join us (via the online enrollment form below), please give
a telephone call to your previous head coach as a courtesy to him and your former team. Practices will be in the
mornings on Saturdays and in the afternoon on Sundays. If you have additional questions, you can also contact our founder.

My philosophy is just like most head coaches. I basically have the same old school with a new school flavor.
I realize in this day and time, you can't treat some of the young players like the way us old school players were trained
and coached. I believe in being fair but stern. I am a straighforward, very structured individual. I bring
discipline, and demand respect which goes both ways because I believe heavily in teamwork. There is no "I's"
in team!!! I believe in gelling like a family, and as they say in the religion world, a family that prays together stays
together. Also, a team that plays together, wins together!!! My famous quote is "you get what you put into
something, and you get nothing out of nothing." To all that are trying out for the Titans semi-pro team, I promise
to give 110%, and I expect a minimum of 100% effort from you. In other words, play every down, minute, second of each
practice as you would in a game. Afterwards, walk off the field the same way you walk onto the field...and that's
with your heads up. Hoooah!!!
