GROWN FOLKS NIGHT @ THUNDER ALLEY SATURDAY, DECEMBER 3RD @7PM
By popular demand,
the Southside Titans took part in a grown folks OU/OSU bedlam night at 7pm on Saturday, December 3rd, 2011. As
a matter of fact, many of us were there early because bedlam would bring a large crowd. We "Represented
Like a Family" at Thunder Alley. It is located on the inner city southside at 2127 S.W. 74th Street and Penn. If
you were attempting to attend but unable to make it, the catch to finding it is that it is located within the shopping center
parking lot. The biggest catch is that it is directly behind (in the back of) the shopping center. Most people that attended honestly would tell you about the great times we have
at our grown folks nights. There was a lot of action and fun. We also had a few additional family and guests.
This was a grown folks event. No children were allowed at this event. This event was definitely for
the grown and sexy. This gave all the parents and other adults an opportunity to be themselves so that they
can comfortably watch the OU/OSU bedlam football game in their Titans gear or OU/OSU attire, enjoy some good food, have drinks,
socialize, play pool and fellowship (or become rivals) in a nice atmosphere. We want to thank everyone
who came out. We hope to see you at our next grown folks night event in the near future.

has truly grown over the past three to four years. As a matter of fact, it is just amazing how much we have expanded
our teams and sporting events in just the last twelve months!!! A heartfelt thank you goes out to all of Southside Titans
staff members who work tiredlesssly to make things run smoothly and successfully. With that being said, we are always
in a position to work with companies, churches, small businesses and financially stable contributors who are in the position
to sponsor or give a sizeable donation to our Southside Titans. Your support in giving goes a long ways in helping our
children, our teams, and our organization as a whole run even more efficiently without the disappointing burden of children
being left out. We have several sponsor packages available to suit your needs based on your financial donation.
We would love to hear from you. If interested, please contact our founder. His information is listed on the "Contacts"

WHO HAS SOUTHSIDE TITANS SPIRIT?
WE DO...LITERALLY!!! Attention all Southside Titans Family Members. We are looking for the loudest, craziest,
outgoing, spontaneous, spirit filled parents, children, friends, and family supporters who are not afraid to make a lot
of noise. With that being said, we are asking that you continue to wear your official Southside Titans gear or your
red, white and black team colors and be ready to get loud and have some outrageous fun on the sidelines and in the stands.
We already have the positive reputation of being both a professional and well respected organization. In addition,
we also have the reputation of being one of the most well supported organizations in terms of attendance, support and love
for our Southside Titans Family in the community and surrounding areas. Once again, continue to show your team
spirit by bringing your clappers, cow bells, whistles, megaphone loud speakers, sirens and outrageousness to
every basketball game and tournament this season. If you are in need of Titans spirit gear, please contact any Southside
Titans secretary. Let's show our opponents and their fans how we're doing things that their teams wish they could.

Southside Titans coaches of all time (in their own mind) at Shartel. For those who missed the previous game, it was
truly entertaining from the tip off until the final shot. This game came down to the final shot, which came
up slightly short at the buzzer. It was a nice clean game, with Southside Titans team spirit and love shared amongst
everyone involved on both sides. We want to thank all of our Southside Titans basketball players as well as their
parents, other family members and friends for your continuous love and support of the Southside Titans family and entire organization. In

longevity and future causes of our Southside Titans organization. We look forward to each of you coming out to
this entertaining event. Be ready to be amazed and often times laugh at these outstanding Southside Titans coaches and Titans
staff members.

DID SOMEONE SAY SOUTHSIDE TITANS BOXING?
That's right...We have set up a Southside Titans Boxing Club via Sims Boxing Soldiers. We sincerely hope
you enjoyed our last boxing event (Underground Beatdown). The event was held at the Capitol Hill Underground Arena on
Saturday, November 19th, 2011. The boxing matches were awesome. The official first bell start time was at
6pm. General admission for this event was only $5 per person. Many groups attended and took advantage of
the $100 VIP which included ringside seats, all you can eat buffalo wings, veggies and beer (limit two drinks per person
on beer). This official boxing event was filled to the attendance capacity. That's right...It was standing
room only!!! In addition, each of the boxers were available to sign autographs for the kids and adults as
well as answer any questions you may have about the sport of boxing. Overall, for those who attended, I'm sure
you would agree that you got your monies worth. The $100 VIP tables sold out quickly too. For those who were not
able to come, you missed a treat. Boxing is an individual, but well respected and disciplined sport. If you
have children as young as age 8 and up interested in taking part in the introduction classes of this sporting event,
practices will be from 530pm to 630pm. The facility is located at 4420 S.E. 44th Street. It is
in the shopping center on the corner of S.E. 44th and Sunnylane. All classes are led by personal trainers.
We also have a few spots available for anyone interested in being a strength and conditioning coach and or trainer.
Please contact Coach Lavell Sims at 405-601-5044 or at 405-816-1013. You can also go to the "Boxing"
page of our website. We also have boxing available for the advanced boxers including the pros from 630-830pm.
Sims Boxing Soldiers is open Monday through Friday. All prices are reasonably priced between $30 to $125 based on what
you are really looking for. Coach Sims is looking forward to meeting you and working out with both the kids and the
adults. You can contact Coach Sims at the numbers listed above or via e-mail at coachlavell@southsidetitans.org . His information and credentials is also listed on the "Boxing"
page of our website.
DRUMLINE
We would like to set up a small drumline for the upcoming 2011/2012 basketball season.
We are trying to find a couple of adults to be our music coordinators or drumline majors to assume the leadership of this
group. As for the kids, we would prefer that the kids range from ages 9-18 to take part in this drumline experience. We
would like to start drumline practice as soon as possible. In addition, if you have any kids that play instruments or
is in a position to donate instruments, contact our founder (Robbie) know! For all drumline related info, he can
be reached via e-mail at coachrobbie@southsidetitans.org .
